Choice

Choice is the domain of freewill. This problematic concept was the crux of the arguement between God and Lucifer. Lucifer being the representation of Gods light, did not believe that man should have the burden of choice. He believed man should remain animals or be like the celestial and have all the answers. So he gave man the answers in the form of the apple. and God gave man doubt. Without doubt choice cannot exist, thus freewill cannot exist. Unit 01 in Evangelion is the representation of Doubt ... and thus the embodiment of choice.
