Illusions of Freewill

This piece is a companion to Visions of Necessity

A depiction of Heaven.
The piece shows God above the mortals and some angels swooping
up to him. The focus is on Adam and Eve and the apple. How freedom
is a fallacy and it is the illusion that is important. We cannot know what
will come, but god would so the determinism is absolute yet we have no
way of knowing the outcome of any event so even though everything
is deterministic we must live life as though it is not in order to be happy.
We were given ignorance by god, and it is this illusion that allows
happiness to exist.
